An Hour

How valuable is an hour to you? What could you do in an hour? I could watch an episode of Lost and discuss it during commercials. I could spend an hour reading Lost emails with my Lost buddies. I could practice tabla. I could go for a run. I could work an extra hour at work and get a little more done. Or I could veg out in front of the TV and do nothing. Or maybe that is doing something. I could hang out with friends. Get a few drinks in a bar. I'm always trying to make valuable use of my time, but what constitutes a "valuable" use of time? Maybe sometimes vegging out in front of the TV could be extremely valuable? Or is it pretty much always a waste of time? If time is so valuable, why do we waste it so often?

I couldn't agree with you more. You know how when people are in their last days, but are capable of doing things, they want to do certain activities they've always wanted to do? Well, if we didn't waste any time in our lives, we'd be able to get it all done sooner than later. I admit I waste loads of time not doing anything, and I know for sure in the future, I'll regret it.
