| After the epic failure of Windows Vista, all have been awaiting the savior of Windows 7. Yes, Windows 7 will be the Messiah. It will be perfectly user-friendly and awesomely bug-free. It will once again untarnish the name of Microsoft. This time it will be different. It was even nobly made available to students for $30.
And so, hundreds of naive students were thrust into Windows 7 Hell. Not to worry though; there is a workaround to the minor issue, as described in the aforementioned link. Of course, one of the steps in the workaround includes burning a new DVD! As the article states, these workaround steps "might be enough to send students screaming to the nearest Apple Store."

| Geico just saved me 50% on car insurance! No joke! After a 15 minute call! Neha and I are now proud members of the Geico family. True story. Seriously, that gecko is amazing! You might want to give those fools a call!

| While jet skiing off the beaches of Koh Samui, an incredible paradise of a Thai island, I started wondering if the rest of the world is still ticking. I can't imagine the hustle and bustle of life has continued to carry on all around the world. Is the madness, hecticness, and stress of life in Silicon Valley still enveloping lives as I remember it? I can't imagine it is. It seems as though the entire world has slowed down and decided finally to take a breather. To relax. Finally! This is epic! We haven't had much contact with the outside world for the past couple weeks, so I'm not too sure what to expect when we return to California in a few days. I only pray that I will be able to function in whatever society awaits me. | | |
| After three days of doing pretty much nothing at all on the beaches of Koh Lanta, a remote island of Thailand, Neha and I were struck with the stark realization today that it was our last day on this tropical paradise of an island, and we had so much to do! Thank god we'd taken care of the elephant-riding safari the day before. We quickly made an agenda for all that we had to accomplish today. This trip was getting stressful. It wasn't supposed to be like this. Here's our list: - Eat breakfast at resort's buffet.
- Go boogie/body surfing in the ocean. Get tossed around. Get sunburned some more.
- Have lunch.
- Go for a walk on the beach.
- Take a nap after lunch.
- Read on the beach while drinking smoothies.
- Blog about this day's agenda.
- Go swimming in the "Infinity" pool.
- Walk to local restaurant called "Same Same but Different" for dinner.
- Take optional nap after dinner.
- Drink cocktails / "special" drinks made by resort guys.
- Go to bed.
Hopefully our next stop, Koh Samui, another island, won't be quite as hectic. | | |
